For most of the 20th Century the history of the flamenco concert guitar was the rivalry for the Flamenco crown between Conde Hermanos and Ramirez. Conde featuring Spruce tops and Ramirez Cedar tops as played by Serranito in all his recordings as well as many of the luminaries of the belle époque of flamenco.
This is an excellent example of the high standard achieved by the Ramirez in their fight to death for the best flamenco players with the Conde Gravina workshop.
